A Manly Torso

As you can probably tell from the blog I like to try a range of subjects from flowers to animals, scenery to portraits. So today I am posting something else new, the torso of a male done with graphite pencil.

Hi, Harley here. This weekend I was very busy drawing lion characters from the Lion King film which I absolutely love. I have not yet coloured or painted them but will re post when I have finished them.

Tree Stump

Today I am posting a picture of a tree stump I sketched then went over with watercolour washes to liven it up.

Shetland Pony

Hi Harley here and yesterday I did a picture of a little shetland pony with my new colorsoft pencils from derwent ( that one of my lovely sister's got me for my birthday ;-) )
I used two shades of brown and a black, It was to practice shading but I'm still doing hard lines. Bye happy valentines day hope your having a good time.

cantering foal

Hi Harley here it has been a bit long since the last post but we have been busy doing arts and crafts. The other day I did a picture of a foal that's cantering and I shaded him in for the practice so the lines  go straight from dark to light.Bye x

Today I am posting a picture done using Derwent inktense blocks. My daughter bought me these for christmas and this is the first time I have used them but am quite pleased with the results so shall be using them lots more.
