A christmas banner

Hello it's Harley, Today I'm going to put on a christmas banner that Xena ( Our little sister) and me done in November time, ready to put up for christmas. We used a beige ribbon and lots of different coloured felt.

Pen and Ink

Hi today its Harley,Yay its christmas eve .And I'm going to put on a partridge in a pear tree because its a bit christmasy :-) I did this with colouring pencils,Its very light so I don't know if you can see it very well but I hope you can. Bye x

Breakfast

Hiya. Today I'm having a lazy day before all the preparations for christmas starts. My post today was done using Derwent studio coloured pencils.

I used this picture for the first (and only) Time I have entered a competition, which was also for Derwent in their best for British competition earlier this year

Lion King

Hi Harley here again.Last year I did about 25-30 pictures of the lion king family tree and today I'm going to be putting two on, these aren't coloured in because at the time I was going over the edge and they were streaky,but I'm getting better so I'm going to be colouring them VERY soon! Bye p.s. only 3 more sleeps untill xmas YAY x

Just Blue

Hiya. Not long now till christmas and I hope all is going smoothly for everyone. Today I am posting a picture that I did using just one water colour paint "blue", with just a hint of pink above the hills.

a fluffy donkey

Hi Harley here, I've put a donkey on today that I drew a couple  of weeks ago.
This one I haven't coloured in but when ( if ) I get better at colouring I will go
back and colour them in ;).

I did him with just the normall HB pencil.Bye x

Border Collie

Hi, Ev here and I would just like to thank you for taking a look at our blog before going on to show my next picture. I did this Border Collie using pastels. I don't tend to use pastels very often because of the mess I end up in (please say it's not just me).

A christmas fairy

Seal

Hi Harley here :)

I did this seal picture about summer time this year, when we all went to seal sands with our middle sister Tara. We all watched the seals playing around and had loads of fun!

I haven't coloured this in yet because I want to use charcoal and I'm waiting to get some.

Hi Harley again.Yesterday I drew a warrior which was fun because I don't usually draw that sort of thing ( animals and cartoons ) I did have a bit of trouble with her hand

Hi again, my turn to post again today (Ev). I have done this picture using acrylics and the help of @terryharrison picture from his brush with watercolour book.

I used grit and gesso to texture the walls and sand to texture the paving slabs.

A little Robin

Hi its Harley.drinking a nice warm drink under a blanket! :).Today's picture is of a little Robin because the snow is just falling down,its freezing out there!

This picture was from a painting book really but I did it with drawing and colouring pencils.I don't do painting much because I'm not very good at it but I will be trying

Bambi

Hi Harley here.Today is a picture of Bambi the baby deer.I think it took me about two hours to draw this but not sure because I did it in September sometime with my cute litte border terrier dog Alfie cuddled up at the side of me. :)

Lots of my pictures haven't been coloured in because I'm learning that and
how to do shading so I don't want to ruin them.

Snowman decoration

Hi everyone, Harley here :)

Welcome to my (and my mums) new blog! All our arts and crafts will be here so you can see how we improve (hopefully).

Here is a snowman decoration I made for the Christmas tree.....

I did this by making two pompoms out of white wool and sewing them together. I then cut out three buttons from black felt, a carrot nose from orange felt and a scarf from blue felt. I also stuck on googly eyes and used some wool to make a loop to hang on the christmas tree.
